Road to Tikrit | Apache Kiowa Convoy Assault | DCS World Iraq Map

This was a challenging mission. We had to rendezvous with the Convoy at waypoint 1, escort it to an airfield in Saddam's home town of Tikrit. 3 Apache, 2 Kiowa and 1 S342 Gazelle provided close air support while 4 F-18 and 1 F-16 attacked the Air Defenses at the airport.

The convoy arrived safely after the destruction of 2 ambush sites. Absolutely love flying multicrew in the Apache.
