Camtasia Introduction: The Keys to Getting Started in Camtasia

In this video, I go over the basic steps to record a video in Camsasia®. This is not a sponsored video, it just happens to be the software I chose to use when I started creating videos for work about a year ago. The inspiration for this topic was one of my coworkers who had to create a video for the first time and they did not know where to start. She said to me, “You don’t run out of breath or make mistakes. I can’t do that.” My response was “oh I make plenty of mistakes and run out of breath. I just fix that while editing.”
For all of you who are scared to get started making your first videos, I hope this video will help you to get started, and trust me your videos will get better over time. I am still learning but we can learn together.
UPDATE: Camtasia changed the subscription model in June 2024, and it is now a yearly fee instead of an upfront cost and optional maintenance.
