1993 F-150 loose steering wheel

I realize the airbag portion was for an Econoline van but I don’t know if other F150s may have had airbags be careful. I ended up using a piece of three-quarter inch schedule 40 PVC about 6 inches long and a piece of all thread with a nut and washer to seat the new snap ring.
I removed the old snap ring with snap ring pliers but it still needed to be replaced like the book fair because it would not hold the spring tension.
