After his honeymoon, Charlie was diagnosed with a grade four brain tumour. 'In sickness and in health, you expect that to come 30 years from now not three months.'

He was told but the doctors with his wife, he had one to two years to live and that his tumour is non removable.

'I never thought at 24 I would be looking after my husband who could go blind or be in a wheelchair.'
