EMEI T97 not yet banned but its predecessor Norinco T97 was back in 2009 when the RCMP lab determined it could be converted since then the lab approved newly redesigned FCG that are unable to do what the PM of Canada said it was originally designed to do so the lab had done its job.

Correction, the relief ports of Gen 1 and 2 are the same. The Gen 2 is not bigger.

Issues on Gen 2, loose front sight post and rail do not hold zero but I have a DIY fix for that. I'm surprised the quality is much better than the Type 81 even though EMEI manufactured both of them.

The dummy RG is made for educational purpose and not be fired. Made of copper pipes and held together by crazy glue.
