Lens requirements of different projects can differ (e.g. drones, robotics etc.), and there are situations where a C/CS-mount lens may seem too fancy, maybe even unnecessary.

These M12 lenses will save you budget and do just about the same work.
We have 6 S-mount Lenses with FoVs ranging from 20 (telephoto) degree all the way up to 180 (fisheye) degree.

These small lenses are what we call the lower-price-but-same-quality alternatives to the two lenses the RPi foundation recommends.
All of them are fully tested and work out-of-the-box on the Sony IMX477 sensor.
Having replaceable industrial-level board lenses can make your camera projects/products more embeddable.
They are ideal for the RPi High Quality camera module.

Here are the full lists if you want to be more selective:

180 Degree: https://bit.ly/m12-lens-180

Note: Each comes with a CS-to-M12 mount adapter, and all of them (except for the 20-degree lens) have an infrared filter at the bottom, which makes no difference since the sensor already has an IR filter on it.
