This video shows the LUA string format command. String format allows you to create a string that contains different types of formatted data. It also allows you to specify the number of digits, combine ascii & hex, etc. Specifiers are %d or %i for numbers, %f for float, %.2f to format float to only 2 digits, you can drop the decimal for leading zeros, %h for hex, %c for an ascii character, and %s for string. Its an excellent way for creating command strings that get sent to a device for remote control!
