Light Sensitive Switch Diagram Explained 💡🌞

A Light Sensitive Switch (also known as an LDR Switch or Automatic Light Controller) is an intelligent circuit that turns ON or OFF a light automatically depending on the surrounding light level! ⚙️✨

At the heart of this system is an LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) — a sensor whose resistance decreases with increasing light intensity. The LDR is connected with a transistor or operational amplifier that acts as a switch.

🌙 When it’s dark, the LDR’s resistance is high ➜ current flow triggers the transistor ➜ light turns ON automatically.
☀️ When it’s bright, the LDR’s resistance drops ➜ transistor turns OFF ➜ light remains OFF.
