Problem #2: Fix for water-damaged Galaxy S6

My phone got wet and i did the rice in a bag trick for 3 days. It worked perfectly after that but the was i forgot to remove the SIM card tray before putting it in the plastic with the rice. I don’t know if it affects my situation right now but the thing is that my phone gets reception and suddenly i loses connection.

Sometimes i get texts sometimes i won’t get it. It’s like a lightbulb that flickers (sorry i don’t know how to explain it) and I’m looking for ways to repair it myself because I’m avoiding to pay money for it being fixed and my carrier said that warranty will be void once the unit encountered water damage. Solution: Hi John. Internal water damage can lead to all sorts of problems so it is imperative that you make sure the device is completely dry before turning it on again. Even tiny amount of moisture in hard to get places in the logic board can can problems later on.
