Spektr-RG launch
A Proton-M launch vehicle, with a DM-03 upper stage, launched Spektr-RG astrophysical space observatory from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, on 13 July 2019, at 12:30:57 UTC (18:30 local time). Spektr-RG (Спектр-Рентген-Гамма, Spectrum X-ray Gamma, SRG) is an astrophysical space observatory, aimed at studying the Universe in the X-ray band of the electromagnetic spectrum from the Lagrange point L2 of the Sun-Earth system, 1.5 million kilometers away from Earth.
