오는 11월 21일, 국내 소재 아티스트 레지던시 프로그램에 참여했던 해외 작가들이 아르코미술관에 다시 모입니다. 아티스트 레지던시는 예술가들에게 창작 활동을 할 수 있는 작은 공간을 제공하는 제도입니다. 해외 작가들은 짧은 시간에 뜻밖의 협업자를 조우하고, 동료와 소통하며 낯선 나라의 레지던시에 머무르다가 고국으로 돌아갑니다.

《나의 벗 나의 집》에서는 최근 국내 레지던시 프로그램에 참여했던 해외작가 7인과, 그들과 교류한 한국인 친구들을 미술관에 초대합니다. 그리고 이들의 여정을 살펴보며 협업, 포용, 교류에 대해 되새겨보고자 합니다. 참여 작가들의 레지던시 경험, 레지던시에서 촬영한 일상적이고 뜻 깊은 사진들을 티저 영상에 담았습니다.📺✨

🎞️𝗘𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗩𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼🎞️

On November 21st, international artists who have participated in an artist residency program in Korea will gather once again at the ARKO Art Center. The artist residency is a program that provides artists with small spaces where they can engage in creative activities. During their short stay, overseas artists live in a foreign country's residency and can collaborate and communicate with unexpected peers, and then return to their home country.

𝑁𝑜 𝑃𝑙𝑎𝑐𝑒 𝐿𝑖𝑘𝑒 𝐻𝑜𝑚𝑒 invites 7 international artists who have recently participated in Korea's residency programs, along with their Korean friends who interacted with them, to the ARKO Art Center. Through exploring their journeys, the exhibition aims to revisit the values of collaboration, inclusion, and sharing. Discover the memories of the participating artists' residency experiences and meaningful, everyday photos taken during their time at the residency in this teaser video.📺✨
