Isco started the first game of the season against Real Sociedad, and scored the first in a 4–1 win against UD Almería on 12 December 2014. He was a regular starter in the club's FIFA Club World Cup winning campaign, scoring the last in a 4–0 routing over Cruz Azul.

Isco's performances earned him many plaudits, being also compared to Zinedine Zidane by the French legend himself. He scored his third league goal on 14 February 2015, netting the first in a 2–0 home success over Deportivo de La Coruña.
