The Transition(R): From Street Legal to Airplane

Here is some rough footage of the Transition® unfolding its wings at the airport. The camera is mounted on top of one of the tail booms. Next, the pilot gets out and does his preflight, pushing in the mirrors and making sure the Transition® is ready to fly. The wings are activated from inside the cockpit and use an electro-mechanical actuator system and titanium hinges.
