Welcome to Protecting The Hobby, a series with the intention of safeguarding my fellow collectors from unethical behavior in the hobby. We need to have a conversation, youtube! This has become a recurring topic in the Twitter trading card community, and I wanted to put it in a video to talk about what I know about the subject, what a pack searcher is, and how you can protect yourself from scumbags in our hobby.

In this video I discuss several ways of tampering or "cheating" the system. This info is intended to help you understand what these folks are doing, and IS NOT intended for you to use to your benefit.
