PM 'resisted the fires of hell' by declining NSW request for more COVID vaccines

Prime Minister Scott Morrison “opted to resist the fires of hell” by denying NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian’s request for a greater share of COVID-19 vaccines, says Sky News host Chris Smith.

“Well late this afternoon, after National Cabinet, Scott Morrison made it clear, that the programs and allocations designated to other States, would not be compromised,” he said,

“That's code for no, you won't be taking currently allocated doses from elsewhere – not surprising really, the prime minister has never been keen in this pandemic to upset the state or territory leaders.

“But the question still remains, if Sydney is on fire, as Dan Andrews says, why would you not throw all the resources you have, at the fire-front? All the Pfizer available?

“It would create hell within National Cabinet, and today, the PM opted to resist the fires of hell.”
