Sri Lanka Railway- Replacement of bridges for upgrading of the coast line
Two 30 Ton Ransomes and Rapier steam cranes (built in 1950) unloading the two main beams of the 60 ft span bridge at Habaraduwa, Sri Lanka. Two cranes are used at the two ends of the bridge to expedite the unloading. The track are given for loading for a fixed time and there is commercial rail traffic on this section of the track (Galle - Matara).
