The Qolsys IQ 4 NS is the most cost-effective IQ Panel 4 to date. This system is designed to work using apps for both programming and daily use as the system has no physical interface. The user interface service is Alarm.com's Interactive service, and while popular, does require a monthly payment to keep active. Even though the IQ 4 NS is meant to use Alarm.com, it is possible to use the system as a completely local setup. This can be done by using the IQ Remote PG, or the DSC HS2LCDWF9 keypads. In today's video Hayden covers the enrollment and functionality of both keypads on the IQ 4 NS system. While these keypads on a local setup do not offer a large amount of functionality, most common user functions can be used from them.

It is recommended to at least try Alarm.com with the IQ panels as we offer no contract monthly plans for Alarm.com's interactive setups. Having the system hooked to Alarm.com gives remote functionality from anywhere you can get a cellular signal on your phone and provides a better user experience overall.
