Dzükou Valley - THIS WAS UNEXPECTED | Trekking in Nagaland | North East India | ep01

Dzukou Valley with the rolling lush green mountains stretches from Nagaland up till Manipur. I consider it as one of the best treks of North East India.

We started our trek from the Vishwema Village side since it is comparatively easier than to attempt it from Jakhama side.

The Episode is first from the series called #ThisIsNagaland where we will explore places to visit in Nagaland and then move to Arunachal Pradesh later to complete my month-long Solo Backpacking Trip.

►►►NOTES:-
-There are limited stay options in Dzukou valley (bring your own tent/guesthouse dorm for 50INR/Private stay in cottages)
-Dzukou Valley has been declared as a Plastic Free Zone
-one needs to get a ticket at the starting of the trek from the base of the Vishwema village
-you can descend from Jakhama side as well
-Dzukou Lillies bloom in the season from June to September
-You need an ILP (Inner Line Permit) to enter the state of Nagaland.

-Carry a thick jacket during monsoons and winters because it gets really cold during the night.
-Carry toilet paper.
-Don't expect any kind of phone signals in Dzukou Valley.
