Woodturning Pine Burl To Bowl - Turning a Mushroom Burl Into a Natural Edge Bowl

I have had this largish mushroom shaped pine burl for almost a year and just haven’t been sure about what to do with it. I finally decided to split it into two pieces and go from there. It’s been air dried, but there weren’t any cracks or splits in any of it. The biggest challenge was dealing with tear out - shellac and a sharp edge did a decent job and I was able to clean up the rest with sandpaper. I used Tried & True Original Wood Finish on this bowl, which is polymerized linseed oil and bees was and is 100% food safe.
