Injective Looks Lost in the DeFi Crowd (INJ Coin)

Injective says it is a blockchain built for finance, but is that enough in a crypto market where almost every chain is already competing for DeFi, trading, liquidity, and financial applications?

In this honest Injective INJ crypto review, I look past the hype and ask what Injective actually has that makes it stand out. I check the price chart, the website, the YouTube activity, the block explorer, DeFi Llama TVL, transaction activity, and the broader competitive landscape.

My biggest concern is that Injective appears to be in one of the most crowded lanes in crypto: finance. If a blockchain’s main pitch is DeFi and financial apps, then I want to see strong usage, strong TVL, strong developer activity, clear differentiation, and a reason it deserves to win against Ethereum, Solana, Base, ICP, and countless other chains. What I see instead is a project with weak visible activity, low DeFi traction relative to its narrative, and a price chart that makes the comeback case difficult.

I also compare Injective to ICP because, in my view, Internet Computer Protocol has a much larger technical vision: full-stack on-chain compute, AI, cybersecurity, identity, crypto apps, and websites running on-chain. Injective may be built for finance, but ICP can technically support finance plus much more.
