Omaha kicks off First Alert 6 Weather Days with multiple rounds of severe storms possible Friday through Monday.
Tonight (Friday): temps surge into the 90s, then storm chances ramp up after 5 PM, with the most active window in the Metro likely through 8 PM (if storms develop to the west). Large hail and strong wind are the main threats; a tornado can’t be ruled out, though the greatest tornado threat may stay northeast. Storms should be mainly east and out of the area 10 PM–midnight, with a small chance of something lingering after midnight.
