03-Month-Old Baby Dies, Mother Injured After Load Carrier Loses Control

Anantang 18 May:A tragic road accident occurred near Peaks after a load carrier bearing registration number JK03N-4521 lost control. The vehicle was being driven by Shabir Ahmad Bhat R/O Jablipora.

In the incident, Summy Akhter W/O Shabir Ahmad Bhat and her 03-month-old son Zain, who were travelling in the same vehicle, sustained injuries.
Both were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, where doctors declared 03-month-old Zain as brought dead.

After completion of medico-legal formalities, the body is being handed over to the legal heirs.
During the incident, another vehicle also sustained damage.

Bijbehara Police have registered an FIR and initiated further investigation.
