RYUYO will be bookable exclusively online, starting Saturday, November 10th. The purchase will be given directly from the #Suzuki stand of EICMA.

The public price of the #bike will be 29.990 euros.

Be sure that the new Suzuki machine will make use of the same mechanicals. The 4-stroke, 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC motor will run on the same 999.8 cc motor with an increased power output of 212 hp at 12,900 rpm and a peak twisting force of 88 lb-ft. It carries over the slipper assist and a 6-speed transmission with Bi-directional Quick-shift System.

Suzuki presents #RYUYO, an incredible version dedicated to the track of the GSX-R1000R ready to upset the balance in the world of sports and to dictate the law between the curbs of all the circuits. To give life to this special version, the Hamamatsu House has researched the best components on the market; must have that make all the fans of speed wink. The choice fell on brand products of absolute value, which made excellence a philosophy of life: Yoshimura for electronics and exhaust, Öhlins for the chassis and Brembo for the brakes. And then Dunlop, Motul, Extreme Components, Bonamici Racing. The result is #RYUYO, a #bike exclusive in materials, technical solutions and driving sensations. A #moto that is destined to become legend, just like the legendary #Suzuki test track that gives it its name.

What is #RYUYO: the circuit

Since the end of the Fifties, #RYUYO is the legendary test track of all #bike #Suzuki, not far from Hamamatsu's headquarters. The fastest test track in the world.The track was designed in the image and likeness of the Mountain Circuit of the Isle of Man by Mitsuo Ito, the only Japanese rider in history able to triumph at the Tourist Trophy, in 1963, driving a #Suzuki. In a thin strip of land close to the sea, Ito created a very challenging course, both for the chassis and for the engine, perfect for developing the series models and racing bikes, so much so that even the GSX-RR from MotoGP he took his first steps here.

The track is 6.5 kilometers long with an interminable straight, 2.3 kilometers long. At #RYUYO, however, not only horses count: the rider and the bike must face an incredible variety of curves, ranging from the 30R hairpin to the wide and endless 200R. Here the perfect balance between chassis and mechanics is decisive, the same that characterizes the GSX-R1000R and that today finds its maximum expression in the #RYUYO project.

RYUYO will be officially unveiled at EICMA in November and will come with a price tag of € 29,990 or approximately $ 35,000. This is more than twice the standard GSX-R1000 ($ 14,599) and the GSX-R1000 R ($ 16,999). Bookings for the 20 units will begin on November 10th at shop.suzuki.it/moto/ryuyo/.
