The Interstellar Hamilton Khaki Pilot Day Date - The Best Automatic Aviation Watch Under $600?

Hamilton have many iconic watches under their belt and an impressive history of amazing aviation watches at affordable price too. Trust me, I should know, I have owned many of them! Today we take a look at one of their more recent icons made famous by the outstanding 2014 Christopher Nolan movie Interstellar. The Khaki Pilot Day Date is an automatic watch (Ref. H64615135) worn by "Cooper" (played by Matthew McConaughey) It is one of two watches that featured in the movie, the second being the ultra cool "Murph" watch which I also discuss. With a cool design, excellent quality and a bit of hollywood fame behind it, this is quite possibly one of the best automatic aviation watches under the $1000 to $600 price range.
