Fatoumata Diawara is a Malian musician based in Paris.

Since releasing her intimate debut album in 2011, Fatou has recorded with Herbie Hancock & Bobby Womack, toured with Damon Albarn’s Africa Express & performed alongside David Crosby at Carnegie Hall

We discuss her wonderful new album - ‘Fenfo’ (which translates as ‘Something To Say) & Fatou performs a spine tingling version of Nina Simone’s ‘Sinner Man.
