Having Taiwanese Food in Malaysia – We accidently found the world’s best chicken at a Taiwanese restaurant

Steve & I were looking for some food quite late in the evening in a small village in Malaysia. After we found out the night market was closed already, we were desperately looking around for restaurants or street food places. Accidently we stumbled into a restaurant offering Taiwanese food in Malaysia. Since I never tried Taiwanese food before I thought okay why not give it a go. A minute later we talked to the owner of the restaurant who recommended us some Taiwan food. It wasn’t really Taiwanese street food but still authentic and real Taiwanese food, here in Malaysia, unbelievable. Traveling Malaysia includes experiencing so many different cultures and nationalities, that’s really cool. So, we ended up having an awesome meal of Taiwanese food and one meal was really special, it might be the world’s best chicken!

When you travel southeast Asia, you are going to experience so many different cuisines and foods from each nation. Although Taiwan is not really a part of southeast Asia, it is still pretty close. I didn’t expect to eat Taiwanese food while traveling Malaysia or traveling southeast Asia in general, but here we go, expect the unexpect while you travel southeast Asia!
