Detail K2 (DK2) Avalanche Snow Plow Kit Installation & First Impressions | 2020 Chevy Colorado Z71

Update: While DK2 advised me to touch up the paint on the blade & scrapper where it was damaged, they are actively working to resolve the issue.

In this video we assemble and install the Detail K2 (DK2) Avalanche Snow Plow kit on my 2020 Chevy Colorado Z71.

I was able to purchase this kit from Costco's website with an added instant rebate, making it one of the best priced, entry-level, homeowner snow plows. The Avalanche series of snow plows allows for a universal fit, meaning that it can fit any vehicle with a front 2" receiver hitch. Check the manufacturer's website before purchasing, to ensure a proper fit for your vehicle. (The system sits low, and there may be height minimums for use)
