I am fuming on the inside

I am dying inside looking at those splits. I have never seen my execution and rng plummet so fast. On top of that, I experienced more lag spikes during this run than I have ever seen before, towards the end it was getting ridiculous, I was just losing time at every split. Still a pb though, but I couldn’t even get the sub 31 with a -1:10 start. Just means lots of time save on the next run I guess.

The objective of Any% is to complete the game as fast as possible, this includes exploiting the game's various glitches to our advantage. If you want to see a run without glitches there are several glitchless speedruns you can find on the official Subnautica leaderboard.

*Important*:
Recently in the Subnautica Speedrunning community there has been a lot of discussion around the validity of KrazeyCane warp, the glitch we use to open the fabricator menu while in the portal cutscene. Without delving into the details about how this glitch works, it requires a certain amount of portal load time in order to be able to pull off successfully. When it was first discovered I was quick to implement it and as a result I was the first person to successfully use it in a run. However, recently it has come to light that those with faster computers than mine (which is a significant number of people) have either much more difficulty or are downright incapable of performing this glitch because their portal load times are too quick. The only solution to this would be to purposely slow down your device, but this of course comes with its own set of issues. Because of this the community has decided to disallow this glitch from any future runs. This time will still be added to the leaderboard as it was set before this rule was changed, but any future runs are no longer allowed to utilize this glitch. If you are a new or current runner, do not attempt to replicate this glitch as your time will not be accepted.
