El Pinero is a bilingual short film set on Cuba's Isla de la
Juventud, known in English as the Isle of Youth. The film is about an American who travels
to the island after his father's death to find his grandfather's
grave, and uncovers a largely forgotten chapter of American
settler history.

Written, and produced by Robert Potter
Directed by Meilín Quilez Durañona, born and raised on the island.
