🤷♂️Client? or Customer? 💳- a simple explanation
Client? or Customer? These two words can easily be confused.
Client = /ˈklaɪ.ənt/
Customer = /ˈkʌs.tə.mɚ/
A client pays for a service.
A customer pays for a product.
A lawyer has clients.
A store has customers.
Yes, sometimes these two nouns are used interchangeably, but "client" sounds more formal and usually refers to someone who pays for a service.
Do you work with clients or customers? I work with students! ;) _________________________________________________________________________
