What You Don't Know About Rimac | Under the Hood

Rimac are a company with a fascinating history. Well-known for being the team that made the ridiculous electric hypercar that Hammond shunted off the side of a hill in Switzerland. They produce cars that make Bugattis look tame. Their latest car, the Nevera, can do nought to sixty miles per hour in 1.4 seconds - and that’s faster than, well almost everything.

And the news recently broke that Volkswagen would be selling Bugatti brand to Rimac, but why?

We also talk about Richard Hammond crashing the Rimac Concept One while competing in a hill-climb trail in St. Gallen, Switzerland.

However, they have done something that many other limited-run hypercar manufacturers haven’t - they have actually made money.

So, in this first episode of Under the Hood - we’re going to fill you in on the history of Rimac in order to explain what’s under the hood of the current cars.
