LEN THORNSON AND BOB CHASE

30 years ago the Komets were hosting the I.H.L. All-Star game in Fort Wayne. It gave Bob a chance to interview many former players and coaches that season.

Chase called Fort Wayne games for 63 seasons on WOWO-AM.
Chase received the Lester Patrick Trophy, presented for outstanding service to hockey in the U.S. in 2012.
Chase called more than 4,500 Fort Wayne games, including nine league championships. He was inducted into the Indiana Broadcasters Association Pioneers Hall of Fame in 2000 and into the Indiana Sportswriters and Sports Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2004.
