Inside Pole Position Raceway's Electric Go Kart - A Comprehensive Look

What makes this high-performance electric go kart so special?
The goal of Pole Position Raceway has always been to provide the closest thing to real racing that most people will ever experience in their lifetime, and the electric go kart is key central in this quest. To accomplish this goal, it's important that the karts be as consistent as possible from a performance standpoint. Jerry Morish, one of the many mechanics at Pole Position Raceway, explains some of the key technical components of our electric go karts and what makes them so special. Our electric go karts are powered by four 12-volt AGM batteries that allow the A/C motor to product approximately 20 horsepower in our adult go karts. Power is transferred to the rear wheels by a chain and sprocket system that leads to the rear axles which are connected by a differential. We also have kid's go karts that product approximately 10 horsepower,
