Dish Towel + DIY Pot Holder = Perfect Hostess Gift!

Today's project has become one of my favorite gifts to MAKE and GIVE! This craft takes an ordinary store bought dish towel and a custom made pot holder (think tiny quilt), smashes them together and makes your new favorite kitchen tool. I hope you enjoy making these as much as I have! Happy Sewing!

Requirements:
Standard dish towel (28" x 18") or (28"x16")
(2) 8"x8" fabric squares (quilt cotton, cotton canvas, cotton lycra..)
(2) 8.5" x 8.5" fabric squares
(2) 8"x8" cuts of thermal batting
(1) 8.5"x8.5" cut of thermal batting
102" of binding (strips should be 2.5" before folding in half)
40 weight thread
walking foot suggested!
