In what appears to be a growing internal division or possible change of heart among members of the Rivers State House of Assembly, two more lawmakers have joined the call seeking the withdrawal of impeachment proceedings against Governor Siminalayi Fubara and Deputy Governor, Professor Ngozi Odu.

Barile Nwakoh who is the Deputy Minority Leader and Emilia Amadi, who are both female lawmakers today, added their voices to the appeal made two days ago by the Minority Leader, Sylvanus Nwankwo, and the Member representing Degema Constituency, Peter Abbey, calling on their colleagues to discontinue the impeachment process and embrace dialogue and peace in the interest of stability of the state.
