Grinder Adjustment at Home for A Perfect Cup of Coffee | Breville Grinder

Everyone loves to enjoy a cup of delicious homemade coffee at home. However, have you ever found that your coffee tastes too bitter, sour or burnt? Failure in adjusting the coffee grinder correctly will often result in bad taste of the coffee.
In this video, we will show you how we normally set up the grinder so that you can get the best flavour out of your espresso.

The type of grinder we are using is Breville the smart grinder pro. However, the technique that we taught in this video works for almost every type of home-used grinder.

The only problem that we face during setting up this semi-automatic coffee machine is the time adjustment. The time itself is already set (we set the time to stop at 30 seconds), Unlike the commercial-based machine which the extraction time varies, we can't solely depend on the time for adjusting the home coffee machine. Instead, focus on 3 things such as weight, ratio and the time when the coffee has doubled the amount (ranges from 25-34 seconds). For the time, it shouldn't be lower than 25 seconds and more than 35 seconds.
