Ingredients for flan:
* 1 tbsp sugar
* 1 tsp water

* 1 egg
* 3/4 cup milk
* 1 tbsp sugar
* 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
* A pinch of salt *optional

Remember cooking time will vary depending on the type of your microwave and the type of mug/cup/container you use.

Every microwave is different. The cook time on your microwave could be anywher around 1 minute - 1 minute and 20 seconds. Check the flan after 1 minute. Do not over cook.
You can use a ramekin, mug, tea cup or anything compatible with microwave to make this flan.

Also if you wish to steam; you can use your steamer and steam the flans covered with aluminum foil for about 25-30 minutes.
