This is going to 28th no confidence motion brought in Lok Sabha and there have been three instances when the government lost the confidence of the house and had to resign and those were governments of VP Singh, HD Deve Gowda and Atal Bihari Vajpayee (the second government of 13 months). This time numbers are with the government and there is no chance that it can lose the motion but its only a democratic tool to force it to answer on issues of Manipur, price rise and other issues which the opposition thinks government needs to answer.
