2025 03 21 Country Roads

Hey all you Finns and Scandinavians! Officially now into Spring, there's more daylight than darkness in the 24-hour span of a day. To welcome the new season tonight I'm playing by request, by John Denver, that iconic song "(Take Me Home) Country Roads". Oddly the person who requested the song hasn't ever seen an episode of Friday in the Kitchen, and if they're lucky, maybe they never will.
Anyways, one fun aspect of this piece is found in the bridge of the song -- the bridge is that part of a song that's found after the 2nd chorus in most radio-friendly songs (Intro Verse V Chorus V C Bridge C C Ending). The fun part is where the chords move upward 1-by-1 for 4-in-a-row. Watch for it! You'll never be the same again.
