Delia finds it unacceptable to have such a gifted student like Marilyn waste her potential because of the lack of support she gets at home. To remedy this, Delia invites Marilyn to live with her during the weekdays so that the latter can focus on her studies. However, one weekend changes everything. Marilyn returns to Delia listless and full of fear. Delia and her co-worker Tisha later learn that Marilyn was taken advantage of by her brother, and that her own mother refuses to believe her. As Marilyn’s teachers and second mothers, Delia and Tisha are determined to seek justice for their student.
