Fire Risk Assessment to PAS79

This presentation provides an introduction and overview to conducting fire risk assessments in line with the recommendations of PAS 79.

PAS 79 is the industry recognised ‘best practice’ methodology for performing fire risk assessments to be compliant with the requirements of UK fire safety legislation.

This session introduces the concept of the nine-step approach, along with the concepts of fire risk and hazard and look at the benchmark standards for the assessment of fire precautions against the requirements of occupants.

The presentation also looks at how to formulate and action plan, and where responsibly lies.
