ASMR Welsh Lesson | Beginner's Language Class with Friendly Teacher Roleplay & Whiteboard Sounds

Shwmae! So, just to say upfront, my Welsh isn’t great – so please don’t treat this ASMR Welsh Teacher roleplay as an *actual* lesson, though if it helps it helps? And heck, if it makes you interested in learning Welsh properly, all the better! But there may be silly mistakes and mispronunciations in it… So be ceffyl!

However, my birthday resolution this year is to just knuckle down and learn my native tongue, felly proper, like – finally. So, I thought it’d help to have a go at teaching it, as explaining stuff helps you to understand it too. Right?!

But anyway, in this beginner’s Welsh lesson ASMR you can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of – I guess – like, a GCSE classroom somewhere in the UK. You’ll learn about basic Welsh greetings, some very vague grammar rudiments, as well as key phrases and words – all taught by the friendly Mr. Fisher-Price, who makes sure to jangle his keys every so often to make sure you’re paying attention and makes use of the tapping sounds of wash-off ink on the whiteboard. It’s a pretty relaxing lesson, and even if the teaching is a bit of a llanast, sometimes there’s nothing like a high school class to make you fall asleep.

🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧

ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses – even just for a bit.

📽 What is FPC? 🎞

FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds – just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos – but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.
