VzBot 235 Build Series | Part 3 - Tool Head, X/Y Belts, Bottom & Rear Panels

Printer Build: VzBot 235 (Mellow CNC Kit)

Colors: Black Frame, Polymaker ABS Lime, Fusion Filament ABS 2.0 Nano Tube Grey

Today we continued the VzBot 235 build series by building up the toolhead carriage. This is made up of several CNC aluminum parts secured with M3 x 6mm Flat Head screws. We also installed the Vz-Hextrudort extruder and worked on installing the belts. We ended the stream needing to review the Goliath hotend installation instructions to determine if the packaged hotend was properly built from the factory or if we needed to disasseble a few parts to add thermal grease and locktite.

This build will be our Weekday Build Stream (Tues/Thurs 5:30pm ET) content until finished.
