Lenin's Secret Files
This Discovery Channel documentary from 1997 discusses information located in Soviet vaults by historian Robert Service. It looks at the life and career of Vladimir Lenin, his relationship with his wife Krupskaya and alleged lover Inessa Armand, the assassination attempt of 1918 and Lenin's subsequent illness and death. According to Service, Lenin's fading health made him impatient for political change - and this had a direct bearing on the course of the Russian Revolution.
