Nothing can stop The Boys from rocking around the world.

Our third overseas act to grace The Sound Stage are The Boys from the UK. Although their rock star dreams were snatched away from them just before they had a chance to mature, The Boys’ music is known to all die hard fans of punk music and rock ’n’ roll. They have influenced countless bands, including some of the top acts in China. Don’t let life or anything else get you down - The Boys are still rocking well into their 60s!

The songs featured in this episode are called Brickfield Nights and I'm A Believer.

Editor's note: The Boys were banned by the Chinese government from performing in China after they had already arrived in the country for a prearranged national tour. It is believed to be due to officialdom hysteria in the aftermath of the deadly Shanghai New Year's crush. This episode was filmed in secret in downtown Beijing in an underground recording studio in what was previously a bomb shelter. A censored version of this episode appears on YOUKU.com in China, and also on the China Radio International English Service's official website, CRIENGLISH.com, running at 13:38 in length. It is notable that both songs appeared unadulterated on that version.
