DEADLY Rafael JET Deal By INDIA - India Spent ₹325,000 LAKH CRORE #shorts

India’s latest Rafale-related decision is the approval to buy 26 Rafale Marine fighter jets from France for the Indian Navy. This deal is meant specifically for operations from India’s aircraft carriers and will strengthen naval air power in the Indian Ocean region. The aircraft will operate from INS Vikrant and INS Vikramaditya.

Out of the 26 jets, 22 will be single-seat fighters and 4 will be twin-seat trainer variants. Along with the aircraft, the deal includes weapons, simulators, spares, maintenance support, and training for Indian personnel. The Rafale Marine was chosen because it can operate safely from short, ski-jump aircraft carrier decks and is already proven in naval operations.

The jets will be supplied by Dassault Aviation of France, continuing India’s defence partnership with France. The Indian Navy will benefit from faster induction because the Rafale is already in service with the Indian Air Force, which helps with training, logistics, and maintenance commonality.

Separately, India is still planning a much larger future project to acquire 114 new fighter jets for the Air Force under the Multi-Role Fighter Aircraft program. The Rafale is one of the leading contenders for that program, but that proposal is still under discussion and has not yet become a finalized deal.

The recent Rafale Marine purchase is seen as a strategic move to quickly boost India’s naval combat capability, while longer-term plans continue to modernize the country’s air force.
