I've been designated in Thailand since the beginning of the year, which was meant to be for short travel leisure. However, 2020 has been a year of unexpected suprises where it has erupted and changed alot of plans for many people, myself included. Thailand recently announced they aren't opening its' borders to outside foreigners until tentatively next year 2021. My hopes are to keep this city in mind for future travels when it's safe and borders open again. I first arrived in Chiang Mai & have been throughout the country. But overall, Chiang Mai is my favorite city in Thailand. The city has a calming atmosphere (as it does sit on a yin vortex) while still having the social convience of citylife.
