Collegiate Church of the 13 e century; is considered one of the 10 largest and most beautiful churches in the Netherlands. Unique collection of beautifully restored vaulting, pillar and wall paintings. Built on the remains of Romanesque church built in the 11 e century by the Bishop of Utrecht on the model of other Utrecht churches. Parts of it have been preserved above the current choir and the walls of the transepts. The church has two librijes (reading rooms); including one of the last chain libraries in Europe. The famous Henrick Bader organ is located in the beautiful Walburgiskerk in Zutphen. With its beautiful Renaissance sounds and its late Baroque additions, it is one of the finest organs in the Netherlands.
