The description of the problem from the owner:
After having the valve cover gasket replaced on my E90, it ran okay for a while before fluttering at idle. Eventually the engine would shut-off at idle and through a check engine light. Scanning it with a ODBII scanner revealed a system too lean message and cylinder misfire. It showed a P0171 and P0174 error codes.
