This resort has undergone a complete makeover as of November 2018.
The colors and vibe are very soothing from the moments you step foot in the lobby.
With 400 rooms, it is a resort that is easy to navigate, and on a great beach that is totally swimmable. With Palace resorts, you receive free wifi, 24-hour room service, in-room coffee maker and now, no reservations required for dining.
The Jerk Chicken shack on the beach was amazing!
We had lunch and the choices in the buffet were vast - very fresh, gluten free, vegetarian etc. So you would be happy with the selection.
This resort is a fair distance from Montego Bay airport - the drive can be up to 2 hours depending on traffic.
You are about 20 minutes from Rick's Cafe, but at least 2.5 hours from any of the tours offered in Ocho Rios. For those who like the Riu brand this would not disappoint.
